RSG KIDS COMPETITION TEAM
Competition is not about winning. It is about showing up, pushing through nerves, and finding out what you are actually made of when it counts.
Our kids BJJ competition team trains and competes regularly across Florida and beyond, from local youth grappling tournaments in the Miami area to national competitions.
Not every student competes, and that is completely fine. For those who do, medals and podium finishes have become a normal part of life at our Hialeah RSG jiu-jitsu academy.
Getting ready for a tournament looks different than a regular class. Techniques get sharper. Live rounds get more intense. Kids learn to handle nerves, read an opponent, and stay calm when the pressure is real.
Every match is set up fairly, by age, weight, and experience. Want more one on one time before a big tournament? Private lessons are always an option.
Win or lose, the team comes back together. They cheer for each other, they celebrate every win, and they show up for every loss. That is what makes this youth competition team different.
